National Weather Service issues advisory, schools delay start time

The number of traffic accidents is ticking up this morning because of slick roads, and just in the last hour, the National Weather Service has issued what it calls a short-fuse winter weather advisory for the Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati metro areas due to black ice.

Several school systems, including Fayette County (FCPS), are closed, others have opted to run on a delay.
