LexPark resumes enforcing parking rules

LexPark

If you are still parked on the street because of the snow, it's time to dig out and move your vehicle.

LexPark Executive Director Laura Boison says citations for non-payment or expired meters have restarted and anyone who parks on the street for more than 24 hours, could have a barnacle placed on their windshield or be towed.

The change comes as Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton's Snow Emergency Plan ends.

Boison says all citations issued last Thursday, January 9th have been voided and no tickets were given out through the weekend because of inclement weather.
