Outgoing U.S. Attorney: Opioids Still "Single Biggest Problem" Facing Kentucky

More than 90 U.S. Attorneys across the country are expected to step down in the coming months and years as a new party takes control of the White House. Among them will be Kerry Harvey, who has served in that position for Kentucky’s Eastern District since 2010.

Josh James sat down with the region’s top prosecutor for a conversation about his tenure and what challenges are on the horizon for his yet-to-be-named successor.

Josh James fell in love with college radio at Western Kentucky University's student station, New Rock 92 (now Revolution 91.7). After working as a DJ and program director, he knew he wanted to come home to Lexington and try his hand in public radio.
