Competition Has Students Summarize For The Prize

Our guests are Kaylynne Glover, a PhD student in biology, and last year’s Three Minute Thesis competition winner Sydney Crawley, an entomologist who studies bed bugs.

UK Perspectives: Constitution Day 2016

This week on UK Perspectives guest host Alan Lytle talks with Gammon Fain, director of government relations for the UK Student Government Association, Macario Butler, member of Minorities in Agriculture Natural Resources and Related Sciences, and Assistant Provost Randolph Hollingsworth about Constitution Day 2016 at the state's flagship university.  Every September 17th schools that receive federal funds are required to stage a program marking the adoption of our country's founding document.  Because Constitution Day falls on a Saturday this year, all activities are being moved to the following Monday, September 19th.


This week Singletary Center’s Matt Gibson previews the shows coming to the Singletary Center this fall, from Ragtime to blues to the Nutcracker.
