13 Indeed Lucky Number For Legends In Winning Back-To-Back Titles

Alan Lytle

Reed Rohlman’s walk-off  two run home run in the bottom of the 13th inning propelled the Lexington Legends to back-to-back South Atlantic League Championships at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.  The Legends won the best of five series over the Hickory Crawdads 3 games to 1.

Lexington jumped on top in the game with a Jeison Guzman RBI single. The Crawdads tied it up in the 7th when Pedro Gonzalez hit a solo home run.

The teams played all the way to the 13th inning on Friday the 13th. The Legends started the bottom half with an Eric Cole walk. After a strikeout and fly out, Rohlman came to the plate and delivered a deep shot to right that just cleared the fence into the party deck and the celebration was on for Lexington.
