On the eve of Big Blue Madness UK men’s basketball coach John Calipari held court with local reporters during the annual media day event.
A prevailing theme of the questions dealt with how many of his talented athletes will see action on the court. Calipari says the solution involves something he’s never done before.
"The best teams that I've coached I've coached six guys, whether it's UMass, Memphis or here. Now, that being said, so I'm doing it twice now. In other words I'm coaching these guys together and I'm coaching two different teams," Calipari said.
Fans won’t have long to wait to see their favorite team. Big Blue Madness happens Friday night in Rupp Arena.
