A member of the Fab Four is set to return to Lexington.

Rupp Arena announced Friday that Paul McCartney is slated to swing through the Bluegrass next year as part of his Freshen Up U.S. Tour.

The show marks the first time the living music legend has played the venue since 1990.

"The Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show," the announcement reads. "Nearly three hours nightly of the greatest moments from the last 50 years of music, dozens of songs from Paul’s solo, Wings and of course Beatles catalogues that have formed the soundtracks of our lives,"

Tickets for the June 1st concert go on sale to the public September 7th at 10 a.m. American Express card members get an early shot at tickets starting September 4th.
