A person walking along Winchester Road near Fortune Drive was hit by a truck around 5:30 this morning. Police say they were rushed to the hospital with "life-threatening injuries." The inbound lanes of Winchester Road were closed while accident reconstruction crews worked the scene. The road is now reopened.
