Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy puts Matt Bevin and Andy Beshear in a virtual tie for the Governor’s seat. Both are pulling 46% among likely voters. Earlier this year, a poll run by the same company had Beshear in an 8% lead over Bevin.
Currently, Beshear is leading in Louisville and Lexington and Bevin has more support in in the northern, eastern and western parts of the state. Bevin also polls higher with men and voters over 55. Beshear has better numbers with women and young voters. 625 registered Kentucky voters were interviewed by phone for the poll.
