Today marks the deadline to register to vote in Kentucky.
The midterm elections are fast approaching and Kentuckians who are not registered but want to vote in November must register by Tuesday – either by going online to govoteky.com, or by submitting a voter registration card through the mail postmarked no later than October 9th.
The ballot will be busy this year, with races for Congress, the state House and Senate, county offices, and the judiciary.
While registered Democrats still outnumber Republicans in the commonwealth, Democratic numbers dropped below the 50 percent mark in June. About 3.3 million Kentuckians are registered to vote, but only time will tell if voter enthusiasm will break any records in 2018.
