Former President Clinton to Visit Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Former President Bill Clinton will be in Lexington this month as a youth group is honored during an Earth Day event at the Kentucky Horse Park.

Bluegrass Youth Sustainability Council spokeswoman Whitney Glass says more than 5,000 people are expected
at the April 23 event so it is being held at Alltech Arena at the horse park.

The council includes students from Fayette County's public and private high schools. Glass says one of the students, Jane Brady Knight of Henry Clay High School, had the idea to invite Clinton to the event.

The appearance is not open to the public.
