Fayette Health Commissioner Says Narcan Classes Will Save Lives, Possibly Someone You Know

This week Dr. Greg talks with Fayette County Health Commissioner Dr. Kraig Humbaugh about the Lexington Fayette County Health Department's inaugural class training the community on how to use Narcan or Naloxone, the overdose reversing medication.  As part of the instruction the department provided more than 140 overdose kits.  They were made possible through a partnership between the health department, Drug Free Lex and the Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center, part of the University of Kentucky College of Public Health.
