Business Side: The Costly Nature of Climate Change

The word 'business' can sometimes assume a narrow definition, but scientists have suggested the cost of climate change may be much higher than we realize, especially in less developed parts of the world, where rising temperatures threaten the food supply.

A new study published in ScienceAdvances looks at the effects of a warming climate on the longest freshwater lake in the world, Africa's great Lake Tanganyika.  

 

This week on the Business Side: we talk with the author of that study, the Pioneer Natural Resources Endowed Professor of Stratigraphy at the UK, Dr. Michael McGlue.
