At least seven people were shot in Louisville overnight during protests of the killing of Breonna Taylor, a black woman fatally shot by police in her home in March. A Louisville police statement confirms at least seven shooting victims, with at least one person in critical condition.
A spokesman says no officers fired their service weapons but there were “some arrests.” 500 to 600 demonstrators marched through the Kentucky city's downtown Thursday night. Protesters across the country have demonstrated against the death of a black man, George Floyd, in Minneapolis police custody.
Attorney's for Taylor's family released the audio of the 911 call made by her boyfriend Kenneth Walker on the night of the shooting. No drugs were found in the home.
