2020 Election Connection: Your One-Stop Guide

Below you'll find a comprehensive collection of election resources, including links to track your vote, deadlines, locations, sample ballots, and WUKY's election coverage.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Early in-person voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020 and runs through Nov. 2, 2020.
  • The deadline to register to vote absentee has passed, but those filling out absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 3, 2020 and received by Nov. 6, 2020.
  • Medical emergency absentee ballots requested can continue to be submitted from Oct. 10, 2020 through Nov. 3, 2020 via traditional means.
  • Election Day is Nov. 3, 2020.

EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS IN LEXINGTON

Early voting hours will be Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. You may vote at any location.

  • Tates Creek Branch Library, 3628 Walden Dr.
  • Northside Branch Library, 1733 Russell Cave Road
  • Beaumont Branch Library, 3080 Fieldstone Way
  • Dunbar Center, 545 N. Upper St.
  • Lexington Senior Center, 195 Life Lane (behind Southland Christian Church on Richmond Road
  • Garrett Morgan Elementary (Hamburg)
  • Wellington Elementary (near Fayette Mall)
  • And BCTC Leestown Campus, 164 Opportunity Way

ELECTION DAY VOTING LOCATIONS

Election Day voting will take place from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. at one of the following locations. You may vote at any location.

VOTER ID

Kentuckians who were unable to get a driver’s licenses or photo ID due to the pandemic because their clerk’s office was closed, or because they were afraid of exposing themselves to COVID-19, can sign a document explaining this concern and cast their ballot.
