Governor Andy Beshear says Kentucky’s COVID numbers continue to decline. WUKY’s Karyn Czar reports from Frankfort.

Governor Andy Beshear says while this is still a mid-week report, new COVID cases, hospitalizations, ICU numbers and the number of patients of ventilators are all down.

The Governor says that means easing up on COVID safety recommendations, including masking indoors. He asks Kentuckians to be patient.

Beshear again pushed COVID vaccinations and boosters, saying that nearly all the COVID deaths have been in the unvaccinated.
