www.keeneland.com

And they're off. WUKY's Karyn Czar previews the start of fall racing at Keeneland.

The leaves are beginning to change, the track is being prepped and final touches are underway across the grounds. Fall is clearly in the air.

Keeneland Communications Director Amy Gregory, spoke to WUKY trackside on Thursday as hundreds of employees prepped for opening day. This is the
first time since 2019 that race fans will mill about as they did before the pandemic hit, at full capacity and without any COVID restrictions or recommendations.

And there are some changes this year in preparation of Breeders Cup that returns to Keeneland this November. Gregory says temporary structures
like the Loge Boxes on the track apron and the Saddling Paddock Chalet which is a dining area will be open to fans during the fall meet.

Keeneland's 2022 Fall Race Meet opens today and continues through Saturday, October 29 with no racing on Mondays or Tuesdays. Gates open at 11:00 First post is at 1:00.
