Kentucky Wildlife Center To Reopen, Masks Required

Salato Wildlife Center

Officials say the Salato Wildlife Education Center in Frankfort is reopening to the public. The center had closed last month as the number of coronavirus cases in Kentucky continued to climb. Officials said the facility closed in an effort to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 to guests and staff. The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources said in a statement that Salato tickets can be purchased at the door or online beginning on Tuesday. The statement says people over age 5 must wear a face mask inside the visitor’s center, regardless of vaccination status.
