Federal employees plan to protest the partial government shutdown outside of Senator Mitch McConnell’s Lexington office this morning at 11:30. It’s been organized by the American Federation of Government Employees. About 800,000 employees are not getting paid during this shutdown, more than 400 here in Fayette County.
McConnell’s office is located at 771 Corporate Drive.
