C-Span is on a 50 capitals tour and this week the high-tech educational broadcasting bus is in the Bluegrass.  WUKY’s Karyn Czar reports.

The C-Span bus is fully equipped with all the modern technology to become an instant mini-classroom or newsroom. The crew on-board will be on the road for the next several months, bringing thousands of archived materials to the fingertips of teachers and students. Freshmen Aleah Crump and Kaitlyn Hinds took a tour this morning at Frederick Douglas High School. They said the interactive technology was truly geared toward their generation.

Thursday the bus will head to Frankfort, its the seventh stop for this 50-capital tour. The team will interview Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes and Senate President Robert Stivers live for the Washington Journal morning program. The C-Span bus will also stop in Louisville and Bowling Green.
