Lexmark CEO David Reeder Announces Immediate Resignation

Lane Report

Lexington-based Lexmark International’s President and Chief Executive Officer David Reeder has announced his resignation.  Reeder says he is stepping down effective immediately, citing personal reasons.

Mickey Kantor, CEO of the company’s Board of Directors says in a news release "All of the Lexmark family want to thank David Reeder for his impressive efforts as CEO of the company, and as CFO as well…he goes on to say “We wish him and his family the best in the future."

Reeder began his tenure at Lexmark as chief financial officer in January 2015. He was named president and chief executive officer in November 2016.

A search for a successor is underway. In the interim, Lexmark says Brock Saladin, senior vice president and chief revenue officer, and Allen Waugerman, senior vice president and chief technology officer will serve as the leadership team.
