Anchorage, Alaska – The Army confirms that a Kentucky soldier has died in the line of duty in Afghanistan.
20 year old Private First Class Dustin Napier of London, died Sunday night from enemy small arms fire in Afghanistan.
Napier was assigned to 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
The 2010 graduate of South Laurel High School leaves behind a wife; whom he married in October 2011.
