Lexington, KY – On Monday, U-S Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said that supplies from the manufacturer are not currently where officials intended for them to be. In Kentucky, state epidemiologist Dr. Kraig Humbaugh says he hopes health departments can make do with what they have on hand.
Meanwhile Secretary Sebelius says she believes everyone who wants the swine flu vaccine will eventually be able to get it. President Obama has declared a national health emergency and U-S Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky says if necessary, Congress will provide additional money and support.
