UK Law Raises The Bar With $56 Million Building Project

The University of Kentucky held a ceremonial groundbreaking this morning on the lawn across from the construction site of the new College of Law Building. UK President Eli Capilouto and UK Law Dan David Brennen were joined by students, faculty staff, donors and alumni to unveil the plans for the 56-million-dollar project.

The expansion and renovation of the College of Law is part of UK’s overall capital improvement plan. The plans call for an increase in educational space, high-tech enhancements to classrooms and study spaces for law students. The former law building was constructed in 1965.
