Responsibilities include anchoring daily news broadcasts, general assignment news reporting, and assisting with training UK Journalism students. Interested applicants should attach two documents: writing sample (Other Document), and an aircheck (MP3 format preferred) of a newscast by the applicant (Specific Request 1).
Minimum qualifications are Bachelors Degree and one year of related experience or the equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or equivalent, one year of newsroom experience, sound editorial judgment, news sense, radio production, good voice, excellent communications skills, strong writing, reporting, news gathering skills, ability to produce and meet deadlines, and ability to take direction are preferred.
