UK Graduate Student Discusses Fulbright Grant

Amanda Gatewood, a 2006 UK Graduate and an epidemiologist for the Kentucky Department of Public Health, recently received a Fulbright Grant to study early childhood development in Kyrgyzstan. She discusses her project and plans for the future with host Tom Godell.

Houseboat to Energy Efficient Residences

LEXINGTON, Ky. - In January a ribbon cutting was held for the first prototype of the University’s Houseboat to Energy Efficient Residences (HBEER) initiative. Music Therapy At UK Health Care

Music Therapy is an integral part of the treatment process at UK Health Care. Heading up the university’s clinical music therapy program is Dr. Lori Gooding. In this conversation she explains how music helps patients heal and tells us about UK’s brand new graduate program in Music Therapy.
