LEXINGTON, Ky. - UK Wildcat fans showed no signs of slowing down Tuesday afternoon, as thousands welcomed home their NCAA champions with a sea of blue. 

NEW ORLEANS --Doron Lamb scored 22 points, and Kentucky won its eighth national championship, holding off Kansas for a 67-59 victory Monday night.

NEW ORLEANS - Kentucky star Anthony Davis has won the Naismith Trophy for men's college player of the year.

NEW ORLEANS  — Kentucky owns the Bluegrass State. Now it can concentrate on the rest of the country.  Anthony Davis and top-seeded Kentucky will play for the national title Monday night after finally putting away pesky Louisville 69-61 in the Final Four on Saturday night.

By the end of the night one basketball team from the Commonwealth will be going to the NCAA Championship Game, the other will be going home.  All this week, we've heard stories and anecdotes that illustrate the passion and hatred from both sides of the UK and U of L rivalry, but what are the players thinking as they head into this contest?  WUKY student reporter Adam Warner has their perspectives on the matchup.
