Matt Jaeger Rock & Roots Host, Saturdays noon-4, Mon-Thu 11pm-1am
Matt started in Lexington radio in the deep dark overnights of 1994. He proposed to his wife at a B.B. King show, so you know where his heart is. Matt’s favorite movies are On Golden Pond and A River Runs Through It because he thinks they are about fishing! Favorite Beatle: George. Guilty pleasure: Slim Whitman. | Live and Local |
|
WUKY's disc jockeys are
live. That is, we are in the studio, playing CDs (sometimes
very loudly!), talking to you, and generally having a great
time. At many radio stations, the music is on a hard drive, and
the "canned" disc jockey lives several states away. Because we
live where we work, we know our local musicians, and the ones who
got their start here. We support them by playing their music, and we
let you know where you can see them play live. Below is a small
sampling of the local artists you hear on Rock & Roots. You can
click on most to visit their websites.
