The Scott County Sheriff's Deputy who was shot while helping apprehend a fugitive from Florida is paralyzed. Deputy Jamie Morales was injured during a shoot-out with serial bank robger Edward Reynolds who was wanted in several states. Reynolds was killed. Morales was hit and has undergone numerous surgeries. His doctors say he is 90% paralyzed. A fund for Deputy Morales has been set up at Whitaker Bank.
